The famed 1990s makeup is taking a turn in her career; she is opening a luxury hotel in her hometown of Monclair, New Jersey. Just a 45-minute drive from Manhattan, The George hotel is a 32-room boutique hotel inspired by George Washington, America’s first president who spent a ton of time in New Jersey. From April 1 onward, expect coffee makers in each room, tartan headboards and portraits of John F Kennedy by the bedside. Oh, and a priceless getaway from the city bustle.
