1. Forever, Virgil Abloh

Virgil Abloh’s premature death at the age of 41 from cancer caused a stir in the fashion world. Louis Vuitton has decided to pay tribute to the artistic director of its men’s collections, maintaining its last show, which was scheduled for this Tuesday in Miami with the title of Virgil Was Here accompanied by a strong campaign of puns on the beaches of Miami with the word Forever the world of fashion and its colleagues are strongly moved by its farewell messages from the corners of the world, for whom broke many fashion standards

Virgil Abloh pioneered the first man of African roots in directing a French and global luxury brand, a creative who imposed streetwear and sportswear in high fashion menswear and, also, a civil engineer who worked as a DJ and as a furniture designer who has turned his OFF WHITE brand into a laboratory of all its possible facets

The posthumous fashion show took place at the Marine Stadium in Miami and was a repeat show. That is, it was the same one that was presented in Paris last season, only 10 looks that had not been presented before were included. Around 1500 people were able to witness it among great celebrities such as Kanye West, Serena Williams, Pharrell Williams, among many other colored lights, extravagance and a pirtotechnical show with the voice of the creator and his last phrase VIRGIL WAS HERE.

The creator left us as a testament a great legacy in fashion, a before and after. This last parade was the one who planned every minute detail of the last show, he even continued answering messages on Saturday morning, declared Michael Burke CEO of Louis Vuitton, a kind of catharsis of an artist saying goodbye to his audience.

Moving from the tropic vibes to the reality of the other pole of the planet and what better than a few comfy chic UGG x FENG CHEN WANG.

This new collaboration conceptualizes the traditional Chinese yin-yang philosophy that revolves around the ideals of Positive, Negative, Clear and Dark. These designs overshadow both masculinity and femininity creating the ultimate shoe that is not hampered by gender expectations. It is a unisex design that comforts any foot.

The classic UGG boot features black buckle straps on the metatarsal, with a sturdy edge perfect for outdoors. Along with the boot, the sandals embrace style and comfort with their leather trim that could make an outfit on the go look absolutely unique. This campaign is a mix of pink panther vibes, smoke, and light and dark tones that bring to life this instinctive vision that highlights the signatures of Wang and UGG.

His visual campaign evokes an omni universe without any predefined genre with a strong visual combining neutral colors with neon explosions.

This collab was launched in the first time on wechat shop online but it is already available to the public.
