These 7 manicures are art girl’s new lipstick
With salons closed and our faces covered by masks, at-home manicures are an arty DIY treat
Art Girls Jungle 23 Dec 2020

Friends, we are again locked at home (and of course responsible enough to do so) but with computers in offline mode and holidays just having started, we all crave to learn some new skills.
How about having an arty party with your nails? Even though we are all netflixing in pyjamas, some creative nail treatment can’t ham and might lift up our mood being a little pick-me-up and an affordable way to feel at least a biiiit attractive. Decorating one’s fingertips is not only soothing but proves to be an attainable nano-burst of creativity in lockdown, especially for creative peeps like us.
While the oil paints you ordered in April might be still unopened and and your show is cancelled, at least let`s work on a little solo show on our nails.

1. Red curves
You love easy lines, female curves and embrace your lockdown carbs? Then this minimal style is what you should get your hands on.

Irmani Nails

2. Corona Nails
Wanna shock your Tinder date during the next video date? If there are some skills and you seek a little challenge, why don’t you try that one?

3. TheArtGorgeous x doggo fan
You love puppies and our IG doggo memes? Look no further 🙂

4. For when you love sunrises abroad and love Alex Israel
Most of us haven’t boarded a plane in ages and therefore haven’t been to any sandy beach watching the sunset with our favourite girls… If on top you are an avid Alex Israel fan, this might be the manicure to apply this holidays.

5. Sophisticated Matisse Nails
Need a color boost and love art history? Follow his roots and go for this abstract pattern to spread some good vibes.

6. For art world monkey and Cattelan lovers
Still in love with Cattelan’s taped banana, art monkey? Voila!

7. Hirst Dotties for beginners
have some YBA’s in your collection but limited painting skills? Add some coloured dots a la Damien Hirst to your existing French manicure and bring a little dose of color on your keyboard.
