This month has produced some stellar art x fashion collaborations. Here are some of our favourites to add to your spring wardrobe of art!
Canada Goose x Paola Pivi
This Spring, Canada Goose partnered with acclaimed artist Paola Pivi and Polar Bears International for a limited-edition capsule collection. Entering the whimsical world of Paola Pivi’s unique baby polar bear feathered sculptures, the capsule features an array of colourful Spring/Summer prints on elevated Canada Goose essentials. Together with Polar Bears International, the collection continues a shared mission to raise awareness about the threats facing polar bears and their Arctic habitats.
Hublot x Daniel Arsham
The Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has announced that multimedia artist Daniel Arsham is the brand’s new ambassador. Arsham is not new to the world of collaborations, having collaborated with the likes of Dior and Rimowa in the past. For this partnership, Arsham has designed a monumental sculpture in the Alps, a 65-foot sundial in the shadow of the Matterhorn. It will have a very limited audience-one can only glimpse it from a mountaintop.
Nina Ricci x Jeanine Brito
Fashion house Nina Ricci has teamed up with artist Jeanine Brito to celebrate the new dawn of the brand under the creative direction of Harris Reed. Three beautiful paintings reinterpreting the brand’s classic iconography have been created to mark the beginning of this new chapter.
Marimekko x Landon Metz
The Finnish design house Marimekko and the New York-based artist Landon Metz worked together to create a beautiful Spring/Summer 2023 collection that embodies the connection between art and fashion. Landon is captivated by the way things connect to form patterns and moments of intimacy in life. Through swirling pools of coloured dye on crisp white fabric, he’s evolved his language of rhythmic gestures with an effortless collection of garments, accessories, and bags, printed exclusively at Marimekko’s Helsinki factory.
