It’s Coachella time once again, and Jeremy Scott made his mark by celebrating his Moschino x The Sims capsule collection at his annual Palm Springs Desert Party. Behind the DJ’s stage pieces from the partnership flashed on screen, showing models wearing pixelated sweatpants, biker jackets and hoodies.

The accompanying campaign, featuring models-turned-avatars Aiden, Denek K and Stella Maxwell, brings virtual reality to life. Each digitised character wears pixelated clothing, with plumbobs – the green diamonds that appear in the Sims – floating above their heads. In addition to the irl items that can be purchased online and at Moschino stores – including plumbobs earrings and pixelated Moschino tees– gamers can also download a Moschino Freezer Bunny hoodie so that they can match their online personas.
