Sip the City: Venice’s Canal Café

The Golden Lion-winning Canal Café by US firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro lets you sip coffee made from canal water (filtered, of course). Perched at the Arsenale, this eco-installation filters lagoon water through a dreamy mini wetland and high-tech kit, turning murky swill into café-worthy brews. Venice never tasted so conceptual.
