Disgraced Australian Art Dealer’s Vanished Artworks Recovered

Disgraced Australian art dealer Tristian Koenig, accused of defrauding artists and collectors, vanished last summer. A civil lawsuit and an arrest warrant followed his disappearance. Amidst the chaos, 72 artworks championed by Koenig were missing. Last October, an anonymous tip led investigators to a storage unit containing 72 paintings, photographs, and tapestries, matching the list of defrauded artists. Finally, the artworks have been returned.
