An extremely rare painting by Artemisia Gentileschi, once misattributed and left to decay for over a century, has been rediscovered in the UK’s Royal Collection. Thanks to art historian Niko Munz and a dedicated team of curators, this masterpiece, created while Gentileschi worked in London with her father in the 1630s, has returned to the spotlight.
