If you follow leading voices from art and fashion on IG these days, there is a dominant color popping up: yellow. Calvin Klein’s newly unveiled New York flagship located on Madison Avenue flies high – not only on social media. The brands creative director Raf Simons once more teamed up with Sterling Ruby to create this bright yellow art-packed ode for a fresh appearance of the classic American brand – most famous for rather minimal jeans and white cotton undies.

To demonstrate bursting creativity is the focus of the renovated store – and man, it quite works.

Simons, who is just about to celebrate his first year anniversary in his position, appointed his long-term art buddy Ruby to undertake this project with him—and Ruby went XXL. “I’m taking the Calvin Klein flagship store from minimal to maximal; my design should be seen as a marker to celebrate the future of the brand,” says Ruby. “I wanted the store to glow from within, representing a new day for Calvin Klein.”
