From Bagels to Chinese New Year, These Are the Latest Emojis

Most texters, tweeters and all around social media fanatics ought to know that the latest round of emojis for iOS 12.1 includes more than just your usual hearts and smiley faces.
In fact, just in time for Chinese New Year this week, there is an emoji of a red envelope, signifying prosperity and wealth to the giver.

Among the other new emojis, there is also options for people to include red hair, gray hair, curly hair and an emoji for people who are bald. There are also emojis of mosquitos (ew), llamas and raccoons. Since the Unicode first launched, hundreds of emojis have been added as Apple keeps updating them with a wider variety. Expect more to come throughout 2019 and happy Chinese new year!
