A Look Inside the New Deitch Projects in Los Angeles

A look at the building shows it is classic (but minimal) L.A. architecture, inside that wallpaper sure looks sassy. That’s right, Jeffrey Deitch just opened his new space in Los Angeles with a solo show by art tar Ai Weiwei.

Until January 5, expect to see by one of the artist’s most remarkable works, Stools (2013), comprised of 5,929 wooden stools from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties and the Republican period, gathered from villages across northern China.
A new piece will also be on view called Zodiac, made from thousands of plastic LEGO bricks. Catch it while you can and join the gallery’s mailing list for upcoming shows.
